Someone was knocking at my door.
I saw a shadow spreading on the floor...
Peeping through the window, it was impossible
To recognize a figure that was nowhere to be seen,
Like the air, it vanished to the wind.
Nowhere to be seen...

And I opened the door
But no one came.
Only the wind answered my question's name:
'Is there anybody there?'

Is there anybody there?
Am I halucinating?
What am I doing outside waiting?
I feel the clutching of Winter,
Spreading inside like a splinter
And dampening all of my sight.

Tranquility. That was all I was aiming for
When I resumed my night
With some t.v. and cigars,
But no!, there's someone inside!
There's someone inside and there's
Glass all over me!

'Hey! It's me your neighbor!'
'Three o' clock in the morning,
What are you doing awake?
All your life, you've been running,
Afraid you'll make the same mistake.

Tonight it's all right to cry.

Tranquility. That was all I was aiming for
When I closed the curtains and fell
Right to the floor and, staring at the ceiling,
I searched for a different meaning
For my life...
